Refund Policy

Summary: All purchases on CandleBlog are non-refundable by default. Exceptions exist only where required by applicable law (e.g., EU 14-day withdrawal right for consumers). Please read this Policy carefully before making any purchase.

1. General Policy

CandleBlog is a digital service. Once a service is delivered or content access is provided, the transaction is final. By making a purchase on CandleBlog, you acknowledge and agree that, except as required by applicable law, all sales are final and non-refundable.

2. Candle+ and Pro Subscriptions

Subscriptions to Candle+ or Pro are billed monthly or annually in advance.

  • Monthly subscriptions: Non-refundable. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused days.
  • Annual subscriptions: Non-refundable after 14 days from the purchase date (or as required by your local law). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Automatic renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically. You are responsible for canceling before renewal if you no longer want the service. Charges for auto-renewed subscriptions are not refundable.
  • EU / UK 14-day withdrawal: If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or similar jurisdictions, you may have a 14-day right to withdraw from digital services. By subscribing and using paid features before the 14-day period ends, you expressly waive this right where permitted by law.

3. Referral Code Activation Fees

Payments for custom referral codes ($5 / $10 / $30 for different durations) are non-refundable once the code is activated. Activation is immediate upon payment. If you choose to change your code name later, the remaining time from your current activation is preserved but the fee for the new activation is separate and also non-refundable.

4. Withdrawals

Withdrawals of your earnings are processed within 3-5 business days via bank transfer or PayPal. Withdrawal requests, once submitted, cannot be canceled. The following fees are not refundable:

  • Bank transfer fees charged by your bank or intermediary banks;
  • PayPal or payment processor fees;
  • Currency conversion charges.

If a withdrawal fails due to incorrect banking information you provided, the funds will be returned to your CandleBlog balance, but processing fees already incurred may be deducted.

5. When We May Refund

We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds in the following cases:

  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged twice for the same subscription due to a technical error.
  • Unauthorized payments: If you prove the payment was made without your authorization (subject to our fraud investigation).
  • Service failure: If CandleBlog is completely inaccessible for more than 72 consecutive hours due to our fault, prorated refunds may be offered.
  • Legal requirement: Where required by your local consumer protection law.

Refunds, when granted, are processed back to the original payment method within 10 business days.

6. Earnings Forfeiture

Earnings you have accumulated but not yet withdrawn may be forfeited in the following cases:

  • If your account is terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service;
  • If we determine, in good faith, that your earnings were generated through fraud, fake traffic, click manipulation, or referral abuse;
  • If you delete your account before withdrawing — we recommend withdrawing any unpaid earnings before deletion;
  • If you fail to complete identity verification when required;
  • If earnings are unclaimed for more than 3 years (we may apply dormancy rules).

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, we may:

  • Suspend or terminate your account;
  • Forfeit all unwithdrawn earnings;
  • Ban your email and payment method from future use;
  • Pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus any chargeback fees.

8. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you qualify for a refund under this Policy, contact us at refunds@chapteral.com with the following information:

  • Your CandleBlog account email;
  • Date and amount of the charge;
  • Reason for the refund request;
  • Any supporting documentation (receipts, screenshots).

We review refund requests within 5-10 business days. Our decision is final but does not affect your statutory rights under applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of paid features after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
